Dunn's Falls    A lovely, tall waterfall from a dammed stream that flows into the Chunky River (yes, that's really its name).  The park is 69 acres with fishing, tubing, swimming, boat rentals, hiking and camping allowed. There is a historic Old Mill, originally built in 1860 to peruse as well.

 

Hiker Information:  The hike to the bottom of the falls is short, but requires several flights of stairs.  Other hikes are available within the park.

 

Entrance Fee:  $1.25 per person (more for boating and camping)  Park Hours: All year, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Trail Length:  Unknown under 100 yards

Accessibility:  Many stairs may make it inaccessible for wheelchairs or those with mobility impairments.

Restrooms:  Yes

Pets:  Not posted

 

 

Directions (from Meridian):  1-59 South to exit #142 (11 miles south of Meridian) take a right and follow the road and brown signs approximately 4 miles.
